Stranded Help 1001-1004
Let's have fun. I want to document how I learned Blender 3D, but in a fun way. Part of what I like to do is teach, and I saw one of those "skill share" type videos this morning during breakfast and I asked myself, "What would one look like if I did it?" So the project was started, and this is for all of those 3d artists out there, like me, who have never really made this jump and did their own thing.
How did this come about? Kitbash3D had this killed Black Friday sale and I got all these wonderful parts for my work. But, none of them are in DAZ format, and as an OBJ they are 1 GB files with every building and piece in one file - not really easily usable in DAZ. The DID have Blender versions, and I did manage to get one through the pipeline and into DAZ. So the journey begins.
I need to become a published artist. I need to break away from all these standard sets, props, and clothing items. I need to create my own sculpted and rigged figures. I need to be a GREAT modeler. And I need to work towards a future where maybe I am doing 3d animated movies. I cannot get there by sitting still.
So I am pushing myself, and sharing the journey so others can follow along and find their dreams too. But in my own silly way that entertains and has some fun. As you will see.
I love the title LOL. Yes, I am not afraid of saying it, and I KNOW there are others out there who feel the same exact way. I can admit it. There are times I feel like a complete idiot. Well, come along with me and let's find a way to fix that!
