One thing about ring lights is you can take them in completely dark rooms and they work their magic. I didn't need to light this room. It requires a 3060+ card to let these lights render in a short amount of time, but they work. You do see these types of lights in a lot of cam-girl work, and they have some lights that can take phones as the camera. It is a lot like a flash, but a flash is a lot like a point light, which this is a flash that gives you a 360 ring of light surrounding the camera, so instead of creating one hot point spot of light with hard shadows, you get this pretty soft light where it is evenly lit but also hard to tell the light's source other than "from the camera direction."
